Falmouth Harbour - Antigua

At last we have pulled the hook.  After bunkering  in Jolly - we were empty of fuel and water as Galene's waterline lowered noticeably we enjoyed a pleasant and uneventful motor sail to Falmouth.

We passed two big turtles on the way and a feeding frenzy of gulls, terns and frigate birds.

We are anchored near Pigeon Beach, a bit closer to the yacht club than before. There are still a few lovely classic boats here,  I suppose left over from Classics Week.

A cooling swim in clear blue water accompanied by another big turtle made a change from Jolly Harbour's turquoise milk.

Gin and tonics rounded off the day nicely.

  1. Glad to hear you're on the move again. Does that mean you are feeling better Rowena? x
